Hello~
Have been missing in action for awhile with posting. On this cold, gloomy last day of 2016; thought it a great time to re-cap this year.
The season began with Carol & Josh’s wedding, at Desert Foothills Barn, and ended with Candace & Ash’s wedding at Sassi. This was a first wedding for us at gorgeous Sassi, and cannot wait to see the photos soon.
Had our second wedding at beautiful Agave of Sedona. Katherine and Jamie’s photos will be incredible; can’t wait to see them soon.
Each couple once again; I just loved, loved, loved planing with! This was the 2nd couple we have planned with; where this time, the groom, was from Australia. Our planning was from a distance; but it never felt that way. Carol & Josh were just the best in keeping in touch, and felt like family with them; was the sweetest wedding day.
Planning the Sedona wedding; was also a long distance one. Katherine and Jamie, live in New York, where Katherine is interning at a hospital there; to become a surgeon. The most precious surgeon, and another What a Day bride being in the medical field. Crazy how many past brides are in the nursing or medical field; that is very special to me. Such carers and givers ~ choose us; as that is my heart~ to give!
Loved planning with the most fun and very special Amanda & Josh! Their wedding was at a family member’s home, and it was so amazingly awesome! Will be posting their photos soon.
After this busy wedding season; I planned my hubby’s surprise party in December. So much fun it was, and thanks so much to Ashley Stone for taking photos. Love working with you!
We had the chance to work with some new, amazing vendors; pretty excited to see a video in the making from one of them. Always love working together with the amazing, Mike Olbinski: he is just the best! Also, Miss Dina Remi, who I so love to work with. She is such a joy!
I am so thankful to the What A Day team~ Kelly and Amber; you are the best of the best! Hope to up-date my website, and add their information and photos; as they are such an integral part. Love you both and thank you for being amazing!
This year I lost my mentor and very special friend, Margie. She was a wedding planner, and an amazing one. When I was just starting out; she was slowing down, and she had me help her with some of her weddings. I attribute so much of my wanting things to be perfect; to her. So much she taught me, and I always think of Margie with each detail. Love you always my sweetest friend, and miss you so much!
Very excited for this 2017, and to have a couple weddings at my all time favorite AZ venue~ Desert Foothills.
May this be a year filled with joy and such goodness. 2017 here we come!
